Dear Parents and Faculty Members:

Please be advised that on January 20, 2021, one student at Muenster High School
has received lab-confirmed, positive diagnosis for COVID-19. The last day the
individual was present on the Muenster Jr./Sr. High School Campus was on January 20, 2021 Due to privacy requirements, the District cannot release the name of the individual or details that may identify them.
The District is working closely with Cooke County officials on this matter to
determine contacts. All students and staff who came into close contact with the
individual will be notified and will be required to quarantine. We will do what is in the best interests of the students and staff in order to reduce the potential spread of COVID.
All MISD employees and students are instructed to continue to follow CDC
guidelines and recommendations, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
Additionally, all school areas that are used by the individuals with the lab-confirmed cases will be thoroughly disinfected by our EFI staff.
