Muenster Elementary Library's 2nd Grade Book Tasting

Second grade students attended a Book Tasting hosted by their teacher, Mrs. Hoepfner, and Muenster Elementary Librarian, Mrs. Eldridge.  The library was transformed into a Book Cafe complete with red and white checkered tablecloths.  Students were exposed to a variety of genres as they investigated, sampled, and filled out "menu" evaluations over the books they read.  This activity was a way to get students engaged and excited about reading and encouraged them to look at books they might not normally choose on their own.
