Roller Coaster Physics with Mrs. Miller

Mrs. Miller's physics students were caught having fun learning about energy while creating roller coasters made out of paper products.  Their goal was to design a roller coaster in which a marble moves on the track for a minimum of 8 seconds.  The coaster was required to have at least one vertical loop and stay within certain size restrictions.  The students calculated kinetic and potential energy, expected exit velocity, and actual exit velocity.
