Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution donate book, TEXAS Before the Lone Star, to Muenster Elementary Library
The Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution's State Regent has a passion for children and their education. Her State Regent’s project is sponsoring the book Texas Before the Lone Star and placing a copy in every elementary school in Texas. The project is funded through the purchase of her products, as well as chapter and member donations.
TEXAS Before the Lone Star is a work of historical fiction that focuses on Texas before it became the Lone Star State. The stories and artwork were all created by Texas Daughters.
The local chapter of the Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Rebecca Crockett, is excited to donate this book for the students of Muenster Elementary to enjoy.
