Muenster Elementary UIL Awards

Congratulations to Muenster Elementary UIL – 2025 District Champions!

These students received their medals and certificates at today’s UIL Awards Ceremony. Thank you to all the students who participated in UIL this year, as well as the parents and UIL coaches who made it possible!

The tradition of success continues at Muenster Elementary as students captured another District UIL Academic championship on
December 5th at Chico Elementary. Students from Muenster ISD continued their domination as they won the Championship for the
15th year in a row. Muenster students garnered an astounding 509.5 points to bring home their Championship trophy. Other schools that followed Muenster in the district included Lindsay with 257 points,
Slidell with 202.5, Era with 173 points, Tioga 37 points, Alvord 80 points, Collinsville 189, and Chico 40.
Teachers at MISD praised all the UIL competitors for their outstanding efforts. “Our students continue to show their academic
excellence by dominating again this year. I am ecstatic for our students and coaches and their continued success”, UIL coordinator
Rebecca Berend.

Sixty-five students from Muenster in grades 2nd through 5th competed. Muenster individual results were as follows:

2nd Grade Creative Writing: Evelyn D placed 1st with Addy F placing 2nd
and Knox B placing 3rd with Zoe L as the alternate.

2nd Grade Storytelling: Raylee S led the team placing 2nd; the team
members consisted of Parker C, Emma W, & Elizabeth T.

2nd Grade Music Memory: Parker H placed 1st with Knox B placing 3rd.
The team placed 1st consisting of Parker, Knox, Evelyn D, Emma W, &
Elizabeth T.

2nd Grade Chess Puzzle: Parker H placed 2nd individual. The team
consisted of Parker, Tate W, Micah B,

3rd Grade Ready Writing: Wacelynn K placed 1st, Zane C placed 2nd, and
Hadley C placed 3rd with Owen S as the team alternate.

3rd Grade Storytelling: James F placed 4th with Kwynn C placing 5th;
remaining team members were Neely W and Tayte R.

3rd Grade Music Memory: Bellamy T placed 1st, Morgan P placed 2nd
with Avery F placing 4th; Jade S-alternate. The team received 1st place.

3rd Grade Chess Puzzle: This team consisted of: James F, Mason P, Reid
E, and Emmanuel C.

3rd Grade Spelling: Reid E placed 1st, Hadley C placed 3rd, & Owen S
placed 4th; Zane C was alternate. The team placed 1st.

4th Grade Ready Writing: Gavin P placed 2nd, Rowan W placed 3rd, &
Sabryna E placed 4th with Bentley W as the alternate.

4th Grade Oral Reading: Haizley Wilson placed 3rd, Sabryna Evans placed
6th with other competitors, Juliana Charles , & Emily Bowen .

4th Grade Music Memory: Tyler W placed 1st, Kodi B placed 2nd, with
Gavin P and Ansley S tying for 3rd and Haizley W as alternate. The team
placed 1st.

4th Grade Chess Puzzle: Judea C placed 6th with the remaining teammates
being Tyler W, Rowan W, & Emery P.

4th Grade Spelling: Juliana C placed 1st, Gavin P placed 3rd, Kodi B placed
4th, & Rowan W as alternate. The team placed 1st.

4th Grade Art Smart: Rowan W placed 3rd. The team placed 3rd consisting
of Rowan, Emery P, McKinley M, Owen S, and Louisa F.

4th Grade Number Sense: Gavin P placed 2nd. The team placed 2nd
consisting of Gavin P, Kodi B, Sabryna E, and Heath H.

5th Grade Ready Writing: Isaac M placed 1st, Tressa C placed 3rd with
Julia F, and Brinlee competing as well

5th Grade Oral Reading: Competitors included: Karaline C, Eleni M, Julia
F, and Gabriel C.

5th Grade Music Memory: Daphne P placed 1st, Isaac M placed 2nd, &
Jacoba H placing 4th. The team placed 1st.

5th Grade Chess Puzzle: Brayson S placed 4th, with the team placing 1st.
The team consisted of Brayson S, Isaac M, Louis K, and Bennett N.

5th Grade Spelling: Isaac M placed 1st with Tressa C placing 3rd. Their
team received 1st place consisting of Isaac, Tressa, Mac M, & Julia F.

5th Grade Art: This team consisted of Eleni M, Kimbrie B, Caleb F, and
Emmitt F.

5th Grade Number Sense: Isaac M placed 2nd. The team consisting of
Isaac, Brayson S, and Karly L placed 2nd; Morgan F as alternate.

5th Grade Dictionary Skills: Tressa C placed 2nd, James R placed 6th with
the team placed 1st.The team consisted of Tressa C, James R, Claire K, &
Daphne.

5th Grade Maps, Graphs, & Charts: Max M placed 1st with Louis K
placing 2nd. The team placed 1st consisting of Max, Louis and Brayson S
with Aiden F as alternate.

5th Grade Social Studies: Morgan F placed 2nd with Max M placing 6th.
The team consisting of Morgan, Max, and Daphne placed 2nd; Peggie F as
alternate.

5th Grade Listening: This team consisted of Gabriel C, Eleni M, Daphne P,
and Brinlee K.
