February is CTE Month at Muenster ISD

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month! At Muenster ISD, we take pride in being a launchpad for our students' future careers.

CTE at Muenster ISD goes far beyond the classroom. Because these programs mirror real industries, learning often happens early in the morning, late at night, and on weekends - all to prepare students for life after graduation.

Meet our CTE team:

The Foundation: In Junior High, Coach Anderle builds Employability and Digital Literacy skills, giving students a strong start in professional communication and digital readiness. ⌨️💼

The Trades: Mr. Martindale’s Welding program develops precision, safety, and technical skill through hands-on training that prepares students for high-demand careers. He is also the leader of our BBQ team. 👨‍🏭🔥

The Future of Ag: Mrs. Berend guides Animal Science students through FFA, livestock shows, and real-world agricultural experiences that build leadership and responsibility. 🐄🌾

Essential Services & Leadership: Led by Ms. Beall, FCS and FCCLA prepare students for careers in culinary arts, education, and human services while developing professionalism and leadership. 🧬❤️

The Investigators: In Forensic Science and A&P, Mrs. Barnhill helps students build advanced science skills for healthcare and criminal justice pathways. 🔍🩺

The Digital Architects: Mr. Bruce’s Graphic Design and Coding students create digital content while also capturing MISD’s story through photography and the yearbook. 🖥️📸

Thank you to our CTE teachers at Muenster ISD for the extra hours, dedication, and commitment to launching student success.
