Welcome to my school main page. This is my 20th year in Muenster ISD. Currently, I teach 6th Grade Language and Reading and 5th Grade Language. I am also the Varsity Cheer Coach. GO BIG RED!! My first year of teaching was third grade in Arlington, Texas. After getting married and moving to Muenster, I taught Junior High Content Mastery in Era for one year, and third grade for one year. I took 5 years off when my daughters were born to be an at home Mom.
I graduated from Lamar High School(with 738 classmates) in Arlington, Texas. I then went to THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. BOOMER SOONER!! I am happily married to Darren Walterscheid(a great guy who graduated from MISD). We have two precious daughters Kimber and Sterling. Kimber is a 2020 graduate of OU and is a Registered Nurse. Sterling is a 2022 graduate of Texas A&M(Whoop). She loves all things Aggie!! Boomer and Gig Em!!!
