First want to say thanks to everyone who assisted in any form this year. It wouldn’t have been able to be as successful without the extra hands on deck.

With each of these athlete’s hard work and commitment, we were able to compete and succeed in just about every meet this year.

7th Grade Boys finished first in every meet including a district championship.
8th Grade Boys placed first in Lindsay Relays to help take home the championship in every level while we were there and finished 2nd at both the Nocona and Muenster Meets.
JV Boys were only able to compete in 2 meets due to COVID restrictions and took home
First place in both and brought home a district title.
Varsity had its own great season as well. Placing 1st in the Lindsay Relays, 2nd at Nocona and Muenster Relays and 2nd at district.

    Lady Hornet Softball

Softball had a successful year this year that made it one for the history books! Softball did a lot of softball this year. Starting Fall League in September, 3 scrimmages in January, 2 tournaments in February, 13 individual games and 6 playoff games! My girls put in endless hours of hard work to not only make a playoff game but to become district champs, bi-district champs, area champs, and a regional qualifier, making this season one for the record book not only by those accomplishments alone but also with a final record of 24-6-1. At the district meeting we were blessed to bring home 3 superlatives, 4 on first team all-district, 1 on second team all-district, 2 on honorable mention, and many on academic all-district. This year I had a total of 20 girls out for softball and 6 of them being seniors. I grew really close to my seniors the last two years with 5 of them being softball only and working with them every day since August. My heart is extremely sad to see them go as they were great leaders for my program and set the standard of what we were working for and what was expected. These girls worked so hard to change the stigma that preceded Muenster Softball in the previous years. I am beyond proud of my girls and am so thankful for how hard they worked for me and their teammates. This season we did walk away with a lot of success but with even more memories and this year hopefully set the stage for Munster softball and this will only be the start of all the greatness ahead for the Lady Hornets.
