Hello! I am so excited to begin my fifth year at Muenster ISD and to start my 15th year of teaching! I have been in Art Education for 14 years. I grew up here in Muenster. My parents are Leon and Christi Klement. I have one sister, Andrea, and one brother, Elliot, and all of my family resides in Muenster. In High School I was the mascot for two years- GO BIG RED! I graduated from Muenster High in 2004. I took art at Muenster High in the same art room that I am teaching in now! After I graduated I attended The University of North Texas where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts Studies. In 2008, I began my teaching career in Mesquite ISD, teaching Elementary Art. I moved from Rowlett back to Muenster in the summer of 2018. I have two children- both boys. Carter, is 9 years old and is going to be in 4th grade here at Muenster Elementary. Owen, my other son, is 6 years old and he will be in 1st grade here at Muenster Elementary. I love spending time with my family in my free time. Of course I love making art in my free time too. I enjoy sharing art with others and helping students appreciate the lasting importance that art has on the world. Art is everywhere, and I believe it is for everyone.
