Remote Instruction

  • Remote Asynchronous Instruction

Remote Asynchronous Instruction which does not require having the instructor and student engaged at the same time.

In this method, students learn from instruction that is not necessarily being delivered in-person or in real time.  This type of instruction may include various forms of digital and online learning, such as prerecorded video lessons or online learning tasks that students complete on their own, and pre-assigned work and formative assessments made available to students on paper.  Some classes at MISD will include synchromous instruction (live virtual instruction between teachers and students) when appropriate for age-level, content level, and student.

    • Instruction will be Mon-Fri
    • At home adult assistance may be needed
    • District-issued device available
    • Internet connection required - Contact your campus office if you do not have internet access.

Muenster ISD will follow the latest CDC guidelines and TEA guidance.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact MISD.

For the 2020-2021 school-year, students participating in UIL, FFA, FCCLA, and all other extracurricular events must be in attendance in on-campus instruction to participate in these events.  Students choosing remote distance learning shall be ineligible for extracurricular participation.

In the event that Muenster High School or Muenster Elementary School Campus is required to close due to COVID 19, all extracurricular events for that campus will be cancelled or postponed.
